Google API Disclosure

iStreamLive's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a better experience for all our users:

  • Google and Facebook Account Information: When you login via Google or Facebook, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create and manage your account.
  • YouTube and Facebook Data: If you connect your YouTube or Facebook account, we access your channel/page information (ID and Title) and metadata required to create, manage, and transition your live broadcasts.
  • Usage Data: Streaming statistics, browser type, and diagnostic data to improve platform stability.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly for providing and maintaining our Service:

  • To facilitate live streaming by managing YouTube and Facebook Live events (Broadcasts and Streams) on your behalf.
  • To authenticate your identity and allow secure access to the Studio.
  • To provide customer support and notify you about changes to our Service.
  • To monitor usage and detect technical issues.

Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure of Google & Meta User Data

We do not sell your personal information. Furthermore, we do not share, transfer, or disclose your Google or Meta/Facebook user data to any third parties, except in the following strictly limited circumstances:

  • To our secure cloud infrastructure providers solely for the purpose of hosting the platform and routing your live video feed to your chosen destinations (e.g., YouTube or Facebook).
  • If required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

3. Secure Storage and Data Deletion Instructions (Google & Meta)

Storage: Your Google and Facebook OAuth tokens, along with associated channel/page data, are encrypted and stored securely in our database infrastructure.

Data Deletion Instructions: We retain this data only as long as your account is active and connected. You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. You can disconnect your Google or Facebook account, or permanently delete your entire account and all associated data, instantly by visiting your Account Profile page. Upon disconnection or account deletion, we immediately delete your tokens and cease all access. You may also contact us via email to request manual data deletion.

4. Third-Party Services

We employ third-party services for specific technical functionality:

  • Payment Processing: We use PayPal for payments. We do not store your payment or credit card details.
  • Streaming Infrastructure: We utilize secure third-party cloud infrastructure to host the platform and facilitate real-time video communication.

5. Cookies & Security

We use cookies to track activity and hold session information. While we use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Token Encryption: All OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens obtained from Google and other providers are encrypted at rest in our database using AES-256 encryption before storage, ensuring your credentials are protected even in the unlikely event of a data breach.
